What is FAT?

Future of Aviation Technology is all about developing a subscale, novel, electric aviation technology demonstrator. We focus on integrating spanwise distributed electric pneumatic propulsion systems into a blended wing body aircraft. Nearly all of our components are made from the ground up, so we design, manufacture, construct, and test everything ourselves. Our subteam focuses include computational fluid dynamics, structures, manufacturing technologies, system integration, and propulsion testing.
